8:00 a.m. Starts at the Graceland gates. Join thousands of Elvis fans in front of Graceland for the 27th Annual Elvis Presley Run, Walk, Rock & Roll benefiting United Cerebral Palsy of the Mid-South. Over 2000 entrants from around the world will join in the family fun and raise money for UCP. Session 1:
10:00 a.m. Cannon Center for the Performing Arts, 255 North Main Street, downtown Memphis. Hear from Elvis' friends and associates as they share their stories and memories of Elvis. Special host will be Tom Brown of Turner Classic Movies. Session 1 will feature The Memphis Boys, joined by Ernst Jorgensen, who will be on stage to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of their historic American Studio session with Elvis that resulted in "Suspicious Minds," "In the Ghetto" and "Kentucky Rain" among many others. Along with photos, videos and music, host Tom Brown will find out what went on during this amazing session. Tickets for each individual session are $19 or you may purchase a ticket to both sessions for $35. Tickets are available by calling Graceland Reservations at 800-238-2000 or 901-332-3322.

Elvis In Vegas 1969Session 2: 1:00 p.m. Cannon Center for the Performing Arts, 255 North Main Street, downtown Memphis. Hear from Elvis' friends and associates as they share their stories and memories of Elvis. Special host will be Tom Brown of Turner Classic Movies. Session 2 will feature guests who were at the opening engagement in Las Vegas: Joe Moscheo of The Imperials, James Burton of the TCB Band, singer Millie Kirkham and journalist Gloria Greer. Elvis Plaque Presentation from Sony Music
5:00 p.m. The Plaza Green at Graceland. Join executives from Sony Music, EPE and fans from around the world for a presentation of plaques that honor Elvis’ recent worldwide gold, silver and platinum achievements.Candlelight Vigil 8:30 p.m. Gates of Graceland Mansion. After an opening ceremony at the gates of the Graceland Mansion property, fans are invited to walk up the driveway to Elvis’s gravesite and back down carrying a candle in quiet remembrance. Free admission. No tickets or reservations. Gates remain open until all who wish to participate in the procession have done so, which typically takes until the early morning hours of August 16, the anniversary date of Elvis’s passing. Free secured parking at the Graceland visitor center complex after 6:00 p.m.
